About
Stepping onto this 10 acre farmland, view of Nandi hills and nature’s artistry captivated me in defining these as the site forces to set this 3,000.0 sft farmhouse for a traditional family wanting to escape the city life to forge a relationship with nature.
The east facing verandah faces the Nandi hills and filters the morning sun light into the interior spaces of living, dining and the kitchen. The washrooms are detached from the main spaces, following the vernacular setup of planning.
23 feet high roof of MS trusses and clay tiles shelters the bedrooms and the dining, use of exposed bricks with patterned laying and clay jails offers a climate responsive design keeping the indoors comfortable for living.
